Find answers to common questions regarding case registration, communication verification, official documentation and general platform procedures.

1. In which jurisdictions does PCRA operate?

PCRA provides information and platform services relating to cryptocurrency fraud reports submitted by individuals from multiple jurisdictions. The availability of certain procedures may vary depending on applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

2. What should I do if I believe I have been the victim of cryptocurrency fraud?

If you believe you have been the victim of cryptocurrency fraud, you should preserve all available evidence, including transaction records, wallet addresses, emails, messages and any correspondence with the suspected party. You may then submit a case registration through the PCRA platform for an initial review.

3. How does the case review process work?

Once a registration is submitted, the information provided is reviewed to determine whether sufficient details have been supplied for an initial assessment. Where appropriate, additional information or supporting documentation may be requested before any further action is considered.

4. Does submitting a case guarantee recovery of funds?

No. Submission of a case does not guarantee recovery of funds, investigative action or a specific outcome. Each registration is reviewed individually based on the information provided and applicable procedures.

5. How can I verify that communications claiming to be from PCRA are genuine?

PCRA provides a Communication Verification service that allows users to verify whether an email address or telephone number is listed within the authorized communication registry. If you remain uncertain, you should contact the Legal Department before responding to any communication.

6. Will I receive official documentation regarding my case?

Where applicable, PCRA may issue official correspondence or documentation relating to your registration or any subsequent procedures. Such documents are provided only through authorized communication channels.

7. Are there any fees associated with case registration?

Submitting a case registration through the PCRA platform does not itself constitute a request for payment. If additional procedures require administrative fees or supporting documentation, these will be communicated through official PCRA channels where applicable.

8. Can I update information after submitting my registration?

If additional information becomes available after submission, you may contact the PCRA Legal Department with your case reference and supporting documentation. Requests are reviewed individually and updates may be recorded where appropriate.
